About Keren

Keren is an Educational and Developmental Psychologist who completed her training in Norway and Australia. She has a Bachelor of Arts with an Honours Degree (First Class Honours) in Psychology and a Masters of Psychology (Educational and Developmental) from Monash University. Keren is a registered psychologist and is endorsed in educational and developmental psychology by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and a fellow of the APS College of Educational and Developmental Psychologists. Keren is currently completing her second Master degree to allow her to pursue endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist.

Keren has over 15 years of experience working as a psychologist in a diverse range of settings, including in a hospital assessment team and across government and independent school sectors at preschool, primary and secondary level.

Currently in private practice, Keren works therapeutically with children, adolescents and adults who experience a range of social, emotional and behavioural issues such as anxiety and depression, stress, parenting problems and social difficulties, to name a few.

Keren’s area of specialisation is intellectual and educational assessments, including assessment of Specific Learning Disabilities (e.g., dyslexia). Her approach to educational assessment is based on the Cattell-Horn-Carroll Theory, which is a comprehensive and empirically validated model of the structure of cognitive and academic abilities.

Keren is also able to offer these services in the Scandinavian languages.
